Within the framework of the self-employment program implemented by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, small family farms have been created for 93 thousand people in the regions of our republic so far.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, more than 115 thousand people across the country have been covered by the self-employment program and have established their small businesses with the program’s support.
It was stated that within the framework of the self-employment program, assets in the form of goods and materials are provided to unemployed and job-seeking persons in more than 30 economic activity areas, including production, agriculture, and services. In the first stage, training is organized for those involved in the program, where they are taught knowledge and skills on organizing and managing a small business. Those who successfully complete the training are provided with assets in accordance with their business plans.
