A powerful explosion occurred near a multi-story residential building in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
“Elchi” reports that the “Algemeen Dagblad” newspaper provided information about this.
The incident was recorded in the Transwijk-Noord district. According to the police, no one was injured as a result of the explosion. However, the front facade of the building sustained serious damage.
According to media reports, a loud explosion was heard near the central stairwell, and fire alarms were triggered in several parts of the building.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene discovered more explosive materials. After the street was cordoned off, specialists neutralized the explosive.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
