The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues its activities in fulfilling its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.
“Elchi” reports that the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has released information regarding this.
Thus, based on calls received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the relevant units of the Ministry carried out emergency rescue operations over the past week in response to 442 fire incidents, 54 cases of people remaining in helpless situations, and 3 road traffic accidents.
As a result of the urgent and immediate measures taken, the operational extinguishing of fires and the saving of human lives were ensured.
In total, 62 people, including 20 minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations over the past week, and the bodies of 11 people were recovered in connection with various incidents (locked doors, car accidents, etc.).
