Iran has executed a person accused of spying for Israel.
“Elchi” reports, citing local media, that Hossein Pedaran was found guilty of spying for Israel and engaging in intelligence cooperation.
After the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence issued against him, Pedaran was executed by hanging.
It was reported that during the 12-day war, Pedaran provided information to Israel’s Mossad intelligence service regarding sensitive military facilities in Iran’s central Isfahan province.
The Iranian judicial system stated that he carried out his espionage activities for the purpose of financial gain.
