Employees of “Apple” stores in the city of Milan held a protest on the day the new “iPhone 18” smartphone went on sale, demanding better working conditions and higher wages.
About 100 “Apple” employees from various cities in Italy’s Lombardy region gathered in front of the company’s store in Liberty Square.
“Elchi” reports that “RIA Novosti” has provided information about this.
The protesters are demanding a review of the terms of the collective agreement, an increase in the level of guarantees, and a reduction in the number of fixed-term employment contracts.
The demonstration, held with trade union symbols, took place during the hours when “iPhone 18” sales began at the store entrance, where about a hundred customers were lined up.
