Trump declares a turning point in the war with Iran

US President Donald Trump has declared a turning point in the war with Iran, at which stage a decision will be made on whether to resume mass attacks to end the conflict.

According to “Elchi”, Trump stated this in an interview with Axios.

According to him, the Iranian regime must make an important decision on whether to destroy it or not.

These comments were made ahead of a meeting scheduled for Tuesday in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with leaders of six Persian Gulf countries – Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.

The meeting could determine the next phase of the war – a new attempt at a diplomatic solution or an intensification of military operations. To continue large-scale military operations, Trump needs the support of his regional allies.

In early August, Trump postponed the resumption of major military operations after Saudi Arabia and Qatar expressed concerns about possible Iranian retaliatory strikes on their oil and gas facilities.
