A new legal mechanism is being established regarding the recall, withdrawal from circulation, and destruction of goods considered dangerous to human life and health.
“Elchi” reports that the issue is reflected in the draft amendment to the Law “On Technical Regulation,” which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.
According to the new article, the recall, withdrawal from circulation, seizure, transportation, storage, neutralization, or destruction of goods that are considered dangerous to human life and health and to which technical regulation applies is envisaged.
These measures will be carried out in accordance with the rules approved by the body determined by the relevant executive authority.
According to the justification of the draft, the amendment is aimed at preventing dangerous goods from remaining on the market, thereby preventing harm to human life and health. At the same time, the scope of measures that can be applied to such goods by law is being specified.
