On September 16, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, attended the official opening ceremony of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, held under the slogan “Building Consensus for Stability, Promoting Shared Development for Security Governance”.

It was stated that the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, which provides a platform for dialogue and cooperation on international security issues, is considered one of the most important platforms for strengthening trust and mutual understanding between states, as well as for the peaceful resolution of regional and global security problems.
It should be noted that the forum, which is attended by heads of defense agencies from more than 100 countries, representatives of international organizations and analytical centers, as well as high-ranking military officials and influential experts on military and security issues, will continue until September 17.
