The State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a meeting with small-vessel operators to raise awareness about relevant safety regulations.

The event, organized in the Baligchilar settlement of the Lankaran district, focused on the topic of “Safe operation of small-sized vessels.”
During the event, small-vessel operators were informed about the equipment requirements for such vessels. Furthermore, the standards regarding current technical control requirements for small-sized vessels were explained, and the importance of undergoing technical inspection of water transport vehicles as provided by legislation and obtaining the necessary certificates for the right to operate them was highlighted. At the same time, small-vessel operators were educated on the rules for using collective and individual life-saving equipment and navigation devices.
In the end, educational brochures regarding the equipment and safe operation rules for small-sized vessels were distributed to the vessel operators.
