During control measures carried out over the past week, cases of illegal cutting of greenery were discovered in the city of Shirvan and the districts of Ismayilli, Lankaran, and Khojavand.
elchi reports that the State Environmental Safety Service has released information regarding this matter.
It was stated that during the investigation, it was determined that illegal tree cutting on Tofiq Ismayilov Street in Shirvan city, in the administrative territory of Ivanovka village of Ismayilli district and Grumba village of Lankaran district, as well as along the Zogalbulaq-Azikh highway in Khojavand district, caused 43,150 manats in damages to greenery.
Since the amount of damage caused to the greenery in each case constitutes a criminal offense, the collected materials have been sent to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.
