“Elchi” reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in Baku at the opening ceremony of the Fourth Climate Week (CW4) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, hosted by the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The minister stated that Azerbaijan will continue to support Turkey in organizing COP31: “I would like to reaffirm Azerbaijan’s unwavering brotherly support for Turkey as it prepares to host the next COP. The cooperation between the COP29 and COP31 presidencies is an example of regional solidarity. This cooperation serves to ensure consistency, ambitious climate finance mechanisms, and the sustainability of global action.”
The Foreign Minister noted that multilateralism remains our strongest tool to overcome this challenge facing our planet, and Baku Climate Week is dedicated to practical implementation.
