An event on the topic of “Fire safety in small-sized water transport vehicles” was held in Mingachevir, jointly organized by the State Fire Control Service and the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Rescue in Water Basins of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was stated that the event was attended by representatives of the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Mingachevir City Executive Power and the Mingachevir Municipality, the local structural unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 8th Regional Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, users of small-sized vessels, and officials responsible for the berthing pier and parking base located on the banks of the Kura River.
At the event held at the Mingachevir Youth House, the importance of ensuring fire safety on small-sized vessels and in the bases and berthing piers intended for their parking was discussed.
Discussions were held regarding the safe operation of small-sized vessels, and it was noted that fire incidents that may occur in such water transport vehicles pose a serious threat to human life and health. At the same time, it was emphasized that strengthening preventive measures in this area by users of small-sized vessels, as well as by those responsible for berthing piers and parking bases, is of particular importance.
