In January-August 2026, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports exceeded 2.8 billion US dollars.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the information, in January-August, exports in the non-oil sector (excluding non-monetary gold) increased by 17.6% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 2.81 billion US dollars.
In August alone, non-oil sector exports increased by 13% year-on-year, reaching 350.8 million US dollars.
In August, food product exports amounted to 80.7 million US dollars, while non-food product exports increased by 11.4% to 251.1 million US dollars.
In January-August 2026, sugar exports increased by 2.3 times compared to the same period last year, cotton yarn by 62.2%, aluminum and aluminum products by 42.8%, vegetable and animal fats and oils by 30.2%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 20.5%, cotton fiber by 17.8%, fruits and vegetables by 13.7%, and tea exports by 12.1%.
