Earlier, the press secretary stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to hold a separate meeting regarding the aviation situation following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s claims about security threats to civilian aircraft in Russian airspace due to drone attacks. According to Peskov, there is currently no need for such a meeting.
On the morning of September 4, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense forces had intercepted 490 drones over 20 regions of Russia and the Black Sea during the night.
