It was reported that yesterday at 20:20, a woman born on 17.09.1952 was injured after falling due to the strong wind. The victim underwent a medical examination and was diagnosed with a fracture of the 4th metatarsal bone of the right foot. Appropriate medical assistance was provided.
On the same day at 20:40, a woman born on 29.01.1987 sustained a hand injury when a door moved due to the strong wind. During the medical examination, she was diagnosed with a lacerated wound on the 3rd and 4th fingers of her left hand. Appropriate medical assistance was provided.
The condition of the applicants was assessed as satisfactory, and they were discharged for outpatient treatment. Relevant recommendations regarding home treatment and medical supervision were given.
“Experts urge citizens to be cautious during strong windy weather and, as much as possible, to avoid standing in open areas, near trees, advertising structures, and other objects that may pose a danger,” the statement noted.
