Preventive maintenance program of the Central Azeri platform has been completed

As part of the annual work program for the “Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli” field, the planned preventive maintenance program on the Central Azeri platform, which began on August 19 and lasted for 11 days, has been fully implemented and successfully completed ahead of schedule.

“Elchi” reports this with reference to bp.

All work planned under the program was carried out in a completely safe manner. Currently, the process of gradually increasing production is underway.

We remind you that the planned preventive maintenance program included various projects, including essential integrity and maintenance work, flare system upgrades, reliability enhancement initiatives, and anomaly resolution measures.

Within the framework of the program, some work related to the Central Azeri Gas Expansion (CAGE) project, which aims to increase the gas reinjection capacity at the Central Azeri platform and is designed to help maximize oil recovery from existing wells, was also carried out.

Such programs are part of normal operations and are regularly carried out as planned at other platforms and facilities where bp is the operator in the Caspian.
