The electric train assistant driver training program, implemented within the framework of cooperation between Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) and the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Railways and Metro, has been successfully completed.
“Elchi” reports that ADY has released information regarding this.
A group was formed based on selection among students studying for the driver profession within the program. Participants who successfully completed the theoretical and practical training conducted by ADY’s professional staff participated in a competition to obtain an assistant driver certificate.
Based on the results of the competition, 11 candidates were hired at ADY. A meeting was held with the candidates who will begin their new professional activities, and they were presented with assistant driver certificates. They congratulated the new employees on joining the ADY team.
It should be noted that within the framework of the memorandum signed between ADY and the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Railways and Metro, students of the center undergo industrial internships at ADY every year. During the internship period, the students’ knowledge and skills are evaluated, and graduates who show successful results are provided with jobs for existing vacant positions.
