“Maritime” information system will be created.
According to the news from elchi, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree in this regard.
According to the Decree, in order to ensure the safety of maritime navigation, the “Maritime” information system will be created for the purposes of collecting information about ships in the territorial waters of the Republic of Azerbaijan, providing ships with navigation data, authorizing the entry and exit of ships to seaports and maritime operations bases, as well as electronic preparation and registration of related documents, and maintaining a registry of seaports, maritime operations bases, ships (including ships under construction), and bunker fuel suppliers.
