The State Examination Center (SEC) will hold an aptitude test on August 4 for applicants wishing to be admitted to the journalism specialty at the undergraduate level of higher education institutions.
The SEC informed “Elchi” about this.
It was stated that applicants who registered by filling out an online questionnaire and met the competition requirements by taking the test exam for the III specialty group will be able to participate in the exam.
827 applicants are expected to participate in the exam.
The exam will be organized in the city of Baku and in the cities of Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran, Shaki, Barda, Kurdamir, and Shirvan, where the regional divisions of the SEC are located.
It should be reminded that the aptitude test will be conducted via computers. Applicants will write the essay in electronic form on a computer.
Applicants who will participate in the exam print the “Exam admission slip” from the SEC website. The admission slip indicates the city (district), building, hall, start time of the exam, and the time the applicant should arrive at the exam building.
Along with the admission slip, applicants are also provided with an excerpt from the “Memory book”. It contains important recommendations regarding the exam process, rules to be followed, and other necessary information for applicants.
The exam starts at 10:00 and will last for 3 hours.
The admission regime ends 15 minutes before the start of the exam – at 09:45. Participants arriving after this time are not allowed into the exam building.
Different arrival times have been set for participants to enter the exam building comfortably, and that time is indicated on the participant’s admission slip. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive at the exam building at the time indicated on the admission slip.
Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:
– Exam admission slip;
– Original identity document:
a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must bring their identity card;
b) Foreigners and stateless persons must bring their residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, and foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must bring their refugee cards;
– Participants without a photo on their identity card must bring, along with other documents, a certificate issued by an educational institution with a photo attached (a 3×4 cm photo of the participant is attached to the certificate and stamped).
Applicants who successfully pass this stage can choose the “Journalism” specialty along with other specialties during the specialty selection process.
