As a result of the military operations and strikes carried out by the Israel Defense Forces since October 2023, nearly 60,700 Palestinian children have been orphaned in the Gaza Strip.
“Elchi” reports that the enclave’s Ministry of Health announced this on its Telegram channel.
According to the agency, nearly 52,000 minors have lost their fathers, nearly 6,000 have lost their mothers, and at least 2,700 children have lost both parents.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of victims as a result of the escalation of the conflict in the strip has reached 73,335, and more than 174,000 Palestinians have been injured.
