American leader Donald Trump did not welcome Volodymyr Zelensky upon his arrival in the US.
“Elchi” reports that in the video published on Zelensky’s Telegram channel, it can be seen that the first person to welcome him at the plane’s stairs was the Ukrainian Ambassador to the US, Olha Stefanishyna, followed by a representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Irish journalist Chay Bowes, commenting on the video on his “X” social media page, noted that there was no honor guard at the welcome and that Zelensky was “‘greeted’ by his own pilot and the Ukrainian ambassador.”
