Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) does not rule out that thermometers in the country could rise to 50 degrees in the coming years.
“Elchi” reports that Aemet representative Jose Angel Nunez told TASS agency about this.
According to him, “as for 50 degrees, this is a physically possible indicator and can be recorded in any region of the kingdom in the coming years.” “In fact, last week some forecast models predicted that the temperature in the Guadalquivir river valley would be 50 degrees, but ultimately the predicted intensity of the heat decreased slightly,” the expert added. He noted that although it is impossible to say the exact time, it can be assumed that the temperature will reach this limit in the near future.
