The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that the wave of attacks against Iran, which began at 23:00 (15:00 US Eastern Time), has concluded.
“Elchi” reports that a written statement from CENTCOM says: “CENTCOM concluded the wave of attacks against Iran at 21:00 US Eastern Time (04:00 Turkey Time).”
It was stated that Iranian command centers, air defense areas, missiles, UAV capabilities, and coastal patrol facilities were targeted to reduce the threats posed by Iran to commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement noted that precision weapons were used to strike targets in many locations, including Bandar Abbas, and that coastal defense and anti-ship missile facilities on Greater Tunb island were targeted.
CENTCOM announced yesterday that the new wave of attacks against Iran began at 23:00 (15:00 US Eastern Time).
