The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take necessary measures to ensure fire safety across the country within its mandate.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, in this context, during an inspection conducted by the State Fire Control Service at the production facility located at 5b Shovkat Mammadova Street, Binagadi district, Baku, a number of deficiencies in the field of fire safety were discovered.
Specifically, it was determined that the primary fire alarm system was not fully installed at the facility, the existing equipment was faulty, and other issues were identified.
It was stated that the current situation indicates that the continued operation of the facility would lead to a fire that could break out at any moment, expand rapidly, and make a tragedy inevitable.
Taking the above into account, a decision was made to suspend the operation of the production facility, where facts of gross violations of fire safety norms and rules were discovered.
