“Elchi” reports that this was noted at an operational meeting held at the Anti-Corruption General Directorate under the Prosecutor General, dedicated to discussing the state of anti-corruption work and future tasks during the first half of 2026.
It was stated that as a result of the review of the presentations, appropriate measures were taken to eliminate violations of the law, prevent their recurrence in the future, and hold guilty officials accountable.
38 criminal cases were initiated by operational agencies. As a result of 15 operational-search measures, 13 people who committed corruption crimes were caught in the act, and 2 wanted persons were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities.
