“Sabah” has made another contribution to Azerbaijan’s position in the UEFA ranking with its latest victory in the UEFA Champions League.

Thanks to this victory, another 0.250 coefficient has been added to Azerbaijan’s UEFA country ranking. With this, our country’s accumulated coefficient for the 2026/2027 season has risen to 1.000.
Currently, Azerbaijan is in 26th place in the UEFA ranking with 19.562 points. Our country is ahead of Bulgaria (18.312) in 27th place, while Israel (20.750) is in 25th place.
It should be noted that “Sabah”, which defeated its opponent 2-0 in the first match in Baku, advanced to the second qualifying round based on the aggregate score of the two matches. The Azerbaijani champion will face Finland’s KuPS club in the next round.
