Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced that he will participate in the “South-East Europe – Ukraine” summit and intends to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky within this framework.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the Serbian news agency “Tanjug”.
“Of course, it is good to cooperate. I have already attended four meetings – in Odessa, Dubrovnik, Athens, and Tirana. However, considering the proposed declaration and everything else, it will not be easy,” Vučić said.
Nevertheless, it is not yet known exactly where and when the summit will be held.
It was noted that Vučić first visited Ukraine in June last year to participate in the “Ukraine – South-East Europe” summit held in Odessa at that time.
In addition, he did not sign the final declaration, in which the summit participants called on the international community to strengthen support for Ukraine and also reaffirmed Ukraine’s efforts to find a diplomatic path toward sustainable peace. The Serbian leader stated that Belgrade firmly supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
