Czech Republic discusses procurement for air defense systems with Israel

The Czech Republic and Israel are discussing procurement for Air Defense (AD) systems.

elchi reports that this was stated by the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs, Petr Masinka.

The “Reuters” agency quoted the minister as saying: “The Czech Republic is discussing procurement for AD with Israel”.

The Czech Republic, which previously possessed Soviet-made AD systems, is replacing them, particularly with Israel’s “SHORAD” anti-aircraft missile systems. The republic monitors its airspace using Israel’s “MADR” mobile 3D radar systems.
