Members of the Milli Majlis working group on inter-parliamentary relations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland met with Bob Blackman, a member of the British Parliament and head of the inter-parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan.

Discussing the current state and development prospects of political and economic relations between the two countries, the head of the working group also touched upon the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the fields of education and artificial intelligence.
During the conversation, Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Inter-parliamentary Ties, expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations between our countries. He emphasized the importance of continuing contacts and exchange of views between deputies, as well as further developing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of international parliamentary organizations.
British MP Bob Blackman expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown to him and highly appreciated the meetings and discussions held during the visit. The conversation noted the important role of parliamentary diplomacy and mutual visits in the development of bilateral relations.
