The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues its activities in the direction of fulfilling its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.
“Elchi” reports, citing the MES, that based on calls received by the “112” hotline, the relevant agencies of the Ministry carried out emergency rescue operations last week involving 560 fire calls, 49 cases of people remaining in helpless situations, and 2 road traffic accidents. As a result of the urgent and immediate measures taken, the operational extinguishing of fires and the saving of human lives were ensured.
In total, 58 people, including 10 minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations last week, 7 people were evacuated, 5 people were injured, and the bodies of 12 people were recovered.
