Turkey expects that the sanctions imposed on it within the framework of the US “Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act” (CAATSA) will be lifted in the near future, which will allow it to return to the new generation “F-35” fighter jet production program.
“Elchi” reports that the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan stated this.
“We expect the CAATSA sanctions to be lifted in the near future,” the Turkish minister said on the air of the “TRT Haber” TV channel.
