Electronic cigarettes and their components are being included in the list of items prohibited from civil circulation (removed from civil circulation).
“Elchi” reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law “On the list of items prohibited from civil circulation (removed from civil circulation)”, which was discussed today at the meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis held in a videoconference format.
It should be noted that according to the Law No. 338-VIIQD dated December 30, 2025, “On amendments to the Tax Code, the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan ‘On tobacco and tobacco products’, ‘On advertising’ and ‘On restriction of the use of tobacco products'”, the import, export, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale, and use of electronic cigarettes and their components have been prohibited. Thus, a corresponding harmonizing amendment is also being made to the Law “On the list of items prohibited from civil circulation (removed from civil circulation)”.
