Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev met with Selcuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company “Baykar”, who is on a business visit to the country, and Birol Akgun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Azerbaijan.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in all directions, including the field of defense industry.
It was stated that the further expansion of cooperation with the “Baykar” company is of special importance for the development of Azerbaijan’s defense industry.
It was noted that the joint projects being implemented make a significant contribution to strengthening the existing partnership between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the expansion of military-technical cooperation, the application of innovative technologies, and other issues of mutual interest.
