A drill on the topic of “Organization of accident and search-and-rescue operations and ensuring safety during the elimination of the consequences of severe road traffic accidents and drowning incidents” was held under the organization of the Mugan Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry’s Press Service, the drill involved the equipment and personnel of the MES Mugan Regional Center, the Mugan diving-search group of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue, and the Emergency Medical Aid Station of the “Salyan Central District Hospital” public legal entity.
The main purpose of the drill was to further improve practical skills in organizing and conducting rescue operations, including rescuing victims from deformed vehicles during traffic accidents, conducting rescue operations related to drowning incidents, and providing first aid.
During the drill, “victims were rescued” from conditionally deformed vehicles, and a “person facing the danger of drowning” was pulled from the water and handed over to the relevant authorities after receiving “first aid”.
After the successful drill, the results were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
