The process of admitting children to preschool educational institutions is now carried out through the “mygov” platform. Citizens have the opportunity to register their children in the queue digitally and manage their applications. The electronic document submission service is available only on the my.gov.az web portal.
The process of creating electronic queues for preschool educational institutions operating under regional education departments and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been active since July 7.
Electronic queues for the city of Baku will be activated in stages starting from today. Specifically, queues for children born in 2021 and 2022 will be available at 11:00, and for children born in 2023, 2024, and 2025 at 15:00.
It should be noted that the parent who previously registered the child in the bq.edu.az information system must also submit the application through their personal cabinet on the “mygov” platform. The registration process can only be continued through the account of the parent to whom the child is linked.
To use the service, it is necessary for a child who is a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan to have an identity card. For foreigners and stateless persons, a temporary or permanent residence permit is required, and for foreigners without a residence permit, a Protection Document from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is required.
During the transition phase to the system, only the data of children born between 2021 and 2025 are reflected, and their registration is possible.
Parents can select up to three preschool educational institutions during the application process. Once admission to any of the selected kindergartens is confirmed, other active queues are automatically canceled.
There is no need to re-apply for children currently registered in any preschool educational institution. However, if a parent wishes to transfer their child to another kindergarten, they can submit a new application. After the admission to the new kindergarten is confirmed, it is required to withdraw the child from the kindergarten they are currently attending to finalize the application.
