Iran has warned the US against new military adventures, stating that it is ready to firmly resist any threat directed at the country’s territorial integrity.
elchi reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this during a telephone conversation with the commander of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Asim Munir.
It was noted that the parties discussed recent events in the region and exchanged views on current issues. Emphasizing the determination of the Iranian people and the country’s armed forces to protect Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security, Araghchi condemned the recent US strikes on Iran.
Araghchi also stated that the statements by US officials regarding the non-compliance with the memorandum of understanding show that Washington is violating its obligations and continuing its policy of escalation.
