The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ “112” hotline received information that citizens were stranded in the Katex River near Yukhari Tala village, Zaqatala district, due to a flash flood.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry’s Press Service, the forces of the MES Civil Defense Troops were immediately dispatched to the area upon receiving the report.
As a result of the rescue operations, 5 citizens who were stranded in the river were saved.
