According to the information provided to elchi by the National Hydrometeorological Service, lightning is flashing and rain is falling intermittently in most parts of the country.
The precipitation is torrential in some places. In some areas of the Balakan-Sheki zone, the rainfall was heavy.
The amount of precipitation recorded was 165 mm in Alibey (140% of the monthly norm for Zagatala), 57 mm in Zagatala (74% of the monthly norm), 52 mm in Balakan (67% of the monthly norm), 21 mm in Saribash (Gakh), 5 mm in Sadarak, 4 mm in Gadabay, 3 mm in Sharur, Aghstafa, Tovuz, and Lerik, 2 mm in Sheki (Kishchay) and Guba, and up to 1 mm in Dashkasan, Ganja, Shamkir, Gusar, Oghuz, Khaltan, Gryz, Barda, Zardab, Imishli, Yevlakh, Kalbajar, Lachin, Gubadli, Shusha, as well as in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
Currently, a north-west wind is blowing, with the maximum wind speed reaching 21 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, and 19 m/s in Julfa.
