Iran condemns the US for “grossly” violating the temporary ceasefire.

Reuters: Iran accused the US of violating the provisions of the ceasefire memorandum.
“Elchi” reports that the US’s repeated attacks against Iran, as well as the revocation of Tehran’s oil sales license, render the ceasefire provision in the memorandum ineffective. According to a statement cited by Reuters, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated this.
The ministry stated in its announcement that “repeated illegal attacks against Iran, combined with the US Treasury Department’s decision to revoke Iran’s oil sales license…, the violation of Iran’s regulations for the Strait of Hormuz, and Israel’s continuous attacks on Lebanon have rendered important and fundamental provisions ineffective.”
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the US Treasury Department’s decision is a “gross violation” of Article 15 of the memorandum and held Washington responsible for the consequences and escalation of the conflict. Tehran also warned neighboring states about the consequences of allowing the US to launch attacks against Iran.
A few hours ago, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the US military had carried out a new series of attacks against Iran. The agency reported that more than 80 targets were attacked. Central Command described these attacks as a “response to Iran’s recent attacks on commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.”
Explosions occurred on Iran’s Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as on Kharg Island in southern Iran. Several explosions also took place in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Sirik in the Islamic Republic.
