Carrying out unauthorized construction and restoration work in Icherisheher has been prohibited.
“Elchi” reports that in this regard, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree “on amending the Statute on the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve”.
According to the document, it is prohibited to damage or destroy monuments located within the territory of the reserve, to move them to another location without the agreement of the Administration, as well as to carry out construction-installation, restoration, reconstruction, conservation works or landscaping measures that violate their integrity and pose a threat to them.
