In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) transported 5 million 464 thousand 009 passengers via the Absheron circular railway and intercity routes.

In the first half of this year, more than 5.1 million passengers (+17%) traveled via the Absheron circular railway, and approximately 289 thousand passengers (+17%) traveled via intercity routes.
In June alone, 950 thousand 287 passengers were transported by ADY trains, which is 24% more compared to June of last year.
At the same time, more than 12 thousand passengers were transported on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku routes, which resumed operations in May.
