Member of Parliament Hardt: There should be no doubt about the unwavering support for Ukraine against Russia.
“Elchi” reports that Jürgen Hardt, foreign policy spokesperson for the Christian Democratic Union and Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) faction in the German Bundestag, called for a tougher stance against Russia and China ahead of the NATO summit to be held in Ankara. His words were cited by the N-TV channel.
“There should be no doubt that Moscow’s support for Ukraine remains unwavering,” Hardt stated.
According to him, “allies must seize this moment to jointly increase pressure on the Kremlin and create conditions for serious peace negotiations.”
At the same time, the member of parliament advocated for measures to be taken against China, which is alleged to support Russia. Hardt called on NATO to “speak up” and hold China accountable for allegedly “prolonging” the conflict in Ukraine.
