Brazil national team forward Neymar has gone down in the history of world football.
elchi reports that the 34-year-old footballer scored in the 1:2 loss to Norway in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, bringing his total goals for the national team to 80.
With this, Neymar became the first footballer to reach the 80-goal mark for the national team.
Pele ranks second on the list of top scorers for the Brazilian national team with 77 goals. The top five is completed by Ronaldo (62 goals), Romario (55 goals), and Zico (48 goals).
