It is reported that US President Donald Trump earned approximately $1.2 billion from his cryptocurrency business last year.
“Elchi” reports that, according to a 927-page annual financial disclosure report published by the US Office of Government Ethics, the income generated from newly established crypto ventures has surpassed the income earned from the real estate portfolio accumulated over decades when Trump took office.
The report notes that Trump’s crypto company, “World Liberty Financial,” generated over $500 million from the sale of new products such as “governance tokens.”
The statement also mentions that Trump’s other crypto business, “CIC Digital LLC,” generated over $600 million from the sale of “meme coins” featuring Trump’s likeness. On the other hand, the report indicates that while Trump’s companies earned billions of dollars from these ventures, investors suffered significant losses from the sale of both crypto assets. According to the data, World Liberty tokens have lost 80% of their value since September, and Trump-themed meme coins, which rose above $74 when they were launched in January 2025, have fallen to $1.68.
