Organized by the Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, civil defense exercises on “Organization of management during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations” were held for the management staff at “BakuBus” in Surakhani district and “MedEra Hospital” LLC in Binagadi district, as well as exercises on warning and assembly for territorial forces and non-militarized territorial civil defense units in Khatai district.
“Elchi” reports, citing the MES, that the purpose of the exercises was to check the readiness level of territorial civil defense forces for operative response to emergency situations, to coordinate joint actions in crisis situations, to improve the knowledge and skills of the command staff in management, and to instill practical skills in personnel regarding warning and assembly.
During the exercises, the activities of non-militarized territorial civil defense units regarding notification of an emergency situation, mobilization by a warning signal, marching to the assembly point, and organization of assembly and management were checked, and reports on functional duties were heard.
After the successfully conducted exercises, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
