Negotiations between Iran and the US on the preparation of a final agreement have not yet begun.
“Elchi” reports that this was announced by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
“Working groups have already been formed to monitor the implementation of agreements and to prepare for negotiations on a final agreement, but the negotiations themselves in these formats have not yet started,” the diplomat said.
In addition, it is noted that during his visit to Qatar, Gharibabadi also held a meeting with the country’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Also, according to a CNN source, US special envoy Steve Witkoff, who is not directly involved in the negotiations, and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner also met with Al Thani on Tuesday.
