Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the government he leads is subordinate to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba Khamenei.
“Elchi” reports that ISNA has provided information regarding this.
“If the leadership had ordered not to conduct negotiations (with the US – ed.), we would certainly have complied,” he noted.
Referring to some accusations that the government does not follow the opinion of the leadership, the Iranian President emphasized that the government adheres to the position of the leader of the revolution.
