The President of Syria, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, has appointed 3 Turkmens to positions in the People’s Assembly.
“Elchi” reports that Turkey’s ambassador to Syria wrote about this on his “X” social media account.
“In the appointments made by Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa today, 3 of our Turkmen brothers have also been elected to the People’s Assembly,” N. Yılmaz stated.
According to him, Abdurrahman Mustafa (Chairman of the Syrian Turkmen Assembly) was appointed for Aleppo, Imad Barak for Homs, and Khalil Darda Abdullah for Raqqa:
“I especially congratulate our Turkmen brothers and wish them fruitful service for a strong Syria.”
