According to the minister, individuals wishing to travel to this region must follow established rules, including undergoing a registration procedure. He stated that these measures are intended to ensure that rescue operations are carried out more efficiently.
It should be noted that 920 people died as a result of the earthquake that occurred in Venezuela on the evening of June 24. Two powerful tremors with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 were recorded with an interval of approximately 40 seconds. The epicenters of the earthquakes were located 10 kilometers apart in the Yaracuy state. More than 200 aftershocks have occurred in the region since the main earthquake.
