elchi reports that this was stated by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in response to US President Donald Trump’s statements regarding Tehran’s frozen assets.
The Speaker stated that the US is falsely claiming that Iran’s released funds will be directed toward purchasing agricultural products from America.
“The main things America exports are genetically modified (GMO) soy, failure to fulfill obligations, and threatening statements,” Ghalibaf emphasized.
It should be recalled that Donald Trump has previously stated several times that Tehran’s released financial assets would be spent on purchasing agricultural and food products for Iran from the US. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also announced that the funds in question would be spent under Washington’s supervision.
